The Halloween Movies

John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN premiered on October 25th, 1978 and went on to become the most successful independent horror movie of all time and spawned a genre-defining franchise that has continued for nearly forty years. The independent film also created one of the most recognized villains in cinema, Michael Myers. SpectiCast Entertainment is proud to present three titles from this iconic horror series, including the 1978 original featuring an introduction from filmmaker John Carpenter.

In 1988, HALLOWEEN 4: THE RETURN OF MICHAEL MYERS was released, bringing the relentless killer back to the big screen. The film picks up ten years after a small Midwestern town fell victim to his rampage. He awakens from a coma and, learning he has a niece back in Haddonfield, returns to find her.

Released the following year, HALLOWEEN 5: THE REVENGE OF MICHAEL MYERS continues the story of Myers' niece Jamie, who has been in psychiatric care since her last encounter with her uncle. Michael Myers is presumed dead but a well-meaning derelict nurses him back to health, and one year later he is back to kill again!
