Our "Symphony in Cinema" Series features such stars as Anna Netrebko, Sir Simon Rattle, Yutaka Sado, Lang Lang, Sara Sant’ Ambrogio, Daniel Barenboim, Alison Balsom, David Kim, Thomas Quasthoff, Claudio Abbado, Renée Fleming, Annette Dasch, Alisa Weilerstein, Anne Sofie von Otter, and Jonas Kaufmann. Our symphonies and operatic concerts are presented by some of the world’s most recognized organizations including The Berliner Philharmoniker, The New York Philharmonic, The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and The Curtis Institute of Music. Our catalogue is made up of both New Release and Encore titles from venues of great beauty and importance including Berlin’s world famous Philharmonie and Waldbühne Theatres, the Sheldonian Theatre at The University of Oxford, the beautiful historic concert hall of Esterházy Palace in Eisenstadt, Austria, the Mariinsky and Philaharmonia Theatres in St. Petersburg and Teatro Real in Madrid, Spain.

We are now offering premiere North American productions featuring the Berliner Philharmoniker featuring world-renowned conductors; Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Barenboim, Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Chailly, Ion Marin, Riccardo Muti, and Gustavo Dudamel. We are featuring live and encore events from Berlin’s world famous Philharmonie and Waldbühne Theatres, the Sheldonian Theatre at The University of Oxford, the beautiful historic concert hall of Esterházy Palace in Eisenstadt, Austria, and Teatro Real in Madrid, Spain.

These live broadcasts and premiere North American productions feature the Berliner Philharmoniker and international stars like Renée Fleming, Annette Dasch, Alisa Weilerstein, Christoph Streh, Anne Sofie von Otter, and Thomas Quasthoff.

On screen, The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia will present three concerts from the newly-built Temple Performing Arts Center and one from the acclaimed Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. These performances will feature talented guest artists - trumpeter and Classic Brit Awards 2011 Female Artist of the Year Alison Balsom; Concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra David Kim; Principal Clarinetist of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra Anthony McGill; and cellist and founder of the Eroica Trio, Sara Sant'Ambrogio.

Live from Curtis includes a mix of performances, including chamber music, opera excerpts, and orchestral selections, simulcast in high-definition and enhanced definition formats and available to our subscribers as a series of live and encore performances.
