“ART & ARCHITECTURE IN CINEMA” SERIES INCLUDES:

Florence and the Uffizi Gallery - Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 7 p.m. local time

“Florence and the Uffizi Gallery” is a multi-dimensional journey of the city that was once the cradle of the Italian Renaissance.  Journey through the most beautiful and representative works of art of the period from Michelangelo, Brunelleschi, Raphael, Leonardo and Botticelli, with a detailed central chapter dedicated to the very treasure house containing their masterpieces: the Uffizi Gallery. This feature includes the breathtaking “Adoration of the Magi” by Leonardo Da Vinci, which will be brought back to life in 2016, after several years of restoration, and unveiled here in an exclusive premiere on the big screen.

Goya – Visions of Flesh and Blood - Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 7 p.m. local time

Discover Spain’s celebrated artist with this cinematic tour de force based on the National Gallery’s must-see exhibition “Goya: The Portraits.” Francisco Goya is Spain’s most celebrated artist and considered the father of modern art. Not only a brilliant observer of everyday life and Spain’s troubled past, he is a gifted portrait painter and social commentator par excellence. Goya takes the genre of portraiture to new heights and his genius is reappraised in a landmark exhibition at The National Gallery, London.

Leonardo Da Vinci - The Ultimate Exhibition - Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 7 p.m. local time

This exhibition-event is the result of six years’ work by leading Leonardo experts, Pietro Marani and M. Teresa Fiorio. It is divided into 12 sections, retracing with scientific rigor the multiple paths travelled by the mind of the genius, including: the foundation of drawing, the role of nature and science, comparison between the arts, reflection on the ancients, the utopian projects, anatomy and mechanics, the unity of knowledge, images of the divine and myths over the centuries (starting with the success of the Mona Lisa).

Renoir – Revered and Reviled – Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 7 p.m. local time

Renoir is one of the most fiercely debated artists and yet one of the most influential. Picasso collected more Renoirs than any other artist. Matisse revered him; Monet too. He was an artist that was instrumental in creating the Impressionist movement and then totally rejected it and went in a completely new direction - with extraordinary results. “The Barnes Collection” in Philadelphia has more Renoirs than any other gallery in the world and it is there that the search begins to tell the incredible story of this remarkable artist.

Monet to Matisse – Painting the Modern Garden - Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 7 p.m. local time

Monet was an avid horticulturist and arguably the most important painter of gardens in the history of art, but he was not alone. Artists like Van Gogh, Bonnard, Pissarro and Matisse all saw the garden as a powerful subject for their art. These great artists, along with many other famous names, are featured in an innovative exhibition from The Cleveland Museum of Art and The Royal Academy, London. From the exhibition walls to the beauty of artist gardens like Monet’s “Giverny,” we take a magical journey to discover how artists used the modern garden to explore radical and wonderful new ideas.

Teatro Alla Scala: The Temple of Wonders – Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 7 p.m. local time

This is the theatre where absolute masterpieces came to life such as “Nabucco,” “Norma” and “Othello,” and which hosted, in the fifties, Luchino Visconti’s scandalous, cutting-edge “Traviata” featuring Maria Callas. It is the place were historical mises en scènes have taken place and where extraordinary voices have been immortalized, such as those of Placido Domingo, Maria Callas, Renata Tebaldi, Mirella Freni and Luciano Pavarotti, as well as incredible performances by legendary conductors such as Arturo Toscanini, Daniel Barenboim, Riccardo Muti and Claudio Abbado.

The Papal Basilicas of Rome – Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 7 p.m. local time

“The Papal Basilicas of Rome” is a unique feature that combines history, spirituality, architecture and art. It takes its cue from the Extraordinary Jubilee, proclaimed by Pope Francis, which will see the faithful from all over the world pour into Rome in their millions, to cross the threshold of the Papal Basilicas and obtain a plenary indulgence. The opening of the Holy Doors will be a historical moment, certain to draw the whole world’s attention to Rome’s Papal Basilicas and be the ideal opportunity to tell the story, using a narrative language that will emotionally involve audiences, as they witness the magnificence that lies inside the four Basilicas.

New York, NY (April 14th, 2015), SpectiCast, in association with Eagle Rock Entertainment, and the producers of Heaven Adores You - the new feature documentary about the life and music of Elliott Smith (1969-2003) – have announced the initial slate of over 200 venues worldwide scheduled to screen this film beginning May 7th, 2015.

Directed by Nickolas Rossi, and produced by Jeremiah Gurzi, Kevin Moyer and Marc Smolowitz, Heaven Adores You is the first comprehensive film about prolific American musician Elliott Smith. Smith rose to mainstream prominence when his song "Miss Misery" – included in the soundtrack for the film Good Will Hunting (1997) — was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Original Song category in 1998.  He struggled with depression and drug use throughout his career, and in 2003, at the age of 34, he died in Los Angeles from two stab wounds to the chest. The film focuses on Elliott’s life and music.

Heaven Adores You features both unheard tracks and over 30 on-screen interviews with Smith’s closest friends and collaborators, creating an intimate and personal history never seen before. The film premiered in May 2014 at the San Francisco International Film Festival and has gone on to screen at 35+ film festivals on 4 continents, including AFI Docs, DOC NYC, Melbourne International Film Festival, International Documentary Festival Amsterdam, CPH: Dox, among others to rave reviews.

“Smith’s life was a trail of tapes, and following it in Heaven Adores You is the film’s greatest joy.”
 - Jayson Green, Pitchfork

Heaven Adores You is a tribute more fitting for Elliott Smith’s legions of diehard fans but also to those waiting in the wings, yet to discover his work.”
- Celine Teo-Blockey, AXS Entertainment

"Heaven Adores You is a beautiful experience, start-to-finish -- just as Elliott's life was.”
- Logan Lynn, Huffington Post

SpectiCast Co-founder and President Mark Rupp said, “Elliott Smith’s story is extremely compelling. We are thrilled with the amount of interest this film has gained to date and we expect the number of venues and screenings to continue to increase over the next several months.”

Geoff Kempin, Executive Director of Eagle Rock Entertainment said “We are all fans of Elliott’s music and it is very gratifying for Eagle Rock to be part of bringing the world this beautiful film.”

Producer, Marc Smolowitz added, “This has been a labor of love from the very first day we started working on this film.  It brings us so much joy to see that Elliott’s life and music will be shown around the world.”

Eagle Rock Entertainment Acquires Worldwide Rights to Elliott Smith Documentary “Heaven Adores You” -- Partners with SpectiCast on Global Theatrical Release, beginning May 7th, 2015.

(March 24th, 2015) Eagle Rock Entertainment, SpectiCast, and the producers of “Heaven Adores You” -- the new feature documentary about the life and music of Elliott Smith (1969-2003) -- are pleased to announce that Eagle Rock has acquired all worldwide rights to the film and will partner with SpectiCast on a global theatrical release, beginning May 7th, 2015.

Directed by Nickolas Rossi, and produced by Jeremiah Gurzi, Kevin Moyer and Marc Smolowitz, “Heaven Adores You” is the first comprehensive film about Elliott Smith’s life and music. It features both unheard tracks by the prolific singer/songwriter and over 30 on-screen interviews with Smith’s closest friends and collaborators, creating an intimate and personal history never seen before. The film premiered in May 2014 at the San Francisco International Film Festival and has since gone on to screen at 35+ film festivals on 4 continents, including AFI Docs, DOC NYC, Melbourne International Film Festival, International Documentary Festival Amsterdam, CPH: Dox, among others.

“Eagle Rock is happy to be spearheading the world distribution of this excellent film about Elliott Smith, in co-ordination with Universal Music,” said Geoff Kempin, Executive Director of Eagle Rock Entertainment. “‘Heaven Adores You’ has already been very well received at a number of film festivals, and we will be dedicating our distribution network to have the world see it through cinema, DVD, TV and Digital platforms!”

SpectiCast Co-founder and President Mark Rupp said, “SpectiCast is excited to partner with Eagle Rock on the theatrical release of this wonderful film.” He added, “Since his death in 2003, the media has portrayed Elliott Smith as a ‘sad-sack’ genius. Previously believed lost and destroyed, the footage for “DRAKE’S HOMECOMING: THE LOST FOOTAGE” was shot prior to Drake signing with Little Wayne's Young Money (Cash Money/Universal) imprint during a live, sold-out concert at Toronto’s Sound Academy in 2009. After its recent rediscovery, additional production and footage was added to the concert film including interviews with Rap-a-Lot Records CEO James Prince and his son Jas Prince, who is credited with the discovery of Drake and bringing him to the attention of Little Wayne. The soundtrack includes the international smash hits, "Best I Ever Had" and "Successful."

Tickets for “DRAKE’S HOMECOMING: THE LOST FOOTAGE,” are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com. The event will be presented in nearly 350 select movie theaters around the country through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network. First known for his role on the highly-successful television series “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” the Toronto-based rapper Drake now holds the record for the most number one hits on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Chart. Prior to his current fame, Drake self-released several mixtapes before releasing the single “Best I Ever Had” from the 2009 mixtape “So Far Gone,” which charted to #2 on the Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart.  After signing to Universal, Drake released the album “Thank Me Later” (2010) which reached sales of 1.5 million and produced the top ten hit “Over.” 2011 saw the release of the multi-platinum album “Take Care” and Drake winning a Grammy for the “Best Rap Album.” His 2012 “Club Paradise Tour” was the highest grossing hip-hop tour, bringing in in excess of $42 million. 2013’s release of “Nothing Was The Same” earned Drake the top spot in the Billboard 200, a platimum certification, and another Grammy nomination. 2013/2014’s “Would You Like a Tour” grossed over $48 million. 2015 will see the release of his fourth studio album, “Views From The 6,” released worldwide.

Jas Prince, CEO of Young Empire Music Group said, “When I first listened to Drake I had no idea he was on a hit show, I just fell in love with his sound and talent – it was unique and like nothing I had ever heard before. I told him during our first conversation I would make him a star. This film documents the beginning of that journey.”

Fathom Events Vice President of Programming Kymberli Frueh-Owens said, “Drake is an incredibly talented and dynamic performer. We are extremely pleased to bring this newly unearthed concert footage to movie theaters nationwide.  The exciting part of this piece is that it features Drake at a breakthrough moment in his young career in the rarified air and company of his hometown fans in Toronto”
SpectiCast Co-founder and President Mark Rupp said, “SpectiCast is proud to be the worldwide distributer of this film.  Drake is an international superstar and we are excited to showcase him at the start of his mammoth career.  This rare footage is a must-see for every Drake fan across the globe.”

2014-05-20 :: SpectiCast to Distribute New Film BEING GINGER

The Story Of One Man’s Attempt To Regain His Self-Confidence So He Can At Last Find Love.

Watch the Official Trailer Here: www.specticast.com/titles/being-ginger

New York Times – Critics Pick

"Sweet, funny, and ultimately rather touching...enormously endearing." – The New York Times

“Entertaining and Enlightening” – Hollywood Reporter

“Wistful, Funny” – The Village Voice

“Unflinchingly Honest” – NYC Movie Guru

"A goldmine of honesty and universality...fascinating." – Josh Rosenblatt, Texas Observer

SpectiCast, in association with Garden Thieves Pictures, is proud to announce that it will distribute BEING GINGER to theatres in the US, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Australia and New Zealand beginning June 25, 2014.

BEING GINGER tells the story of director Scott P. Harris’ attempt to deal with his longtime hatred of his bright orange hair.  What starts as a funny quest to find a woman who specifically has a thing for redheads becomes a quest to face the demons of his past as he realizes that the bullying he endured as a child has more to do with who he is than he ever realized.

SpectiCast is a US-based distribution company, specializing in the distribution of Event Cinema and Alternative Content to theaters worldwide. Past projects have included the worldwiderelease of Lamb of God’s AS THE PALACES BURN, THE ROLLING STONES: HYDE PARK LIVE, SUPER DUPER ALICE COOPER and the 2014 MYFRENCHFILMFESTIVAL.

“We're delighted to work with Garden Thieves Pictures to bring this film to theatres in select territories this June,” adds SpectiCast President & COO Mark Rupp. “Harris' film is as entertaining as it is endearing, and will prove a delight for audiences of all ages - gingers or not.”

“For a long time I wanted to make a film about bullying, but I wanted to focus on the long-term impact that bullying can have on an adult after they’ve grown up,” states director Scott P. Harris. “I also didn’t want the film to be so heavy with a social message that it was no longer fun for an audience.  So I came up with BEING GINGER.  It starts as a light film, a comedy about modern dating and the weird social standing that redheads hold, but it slowly grows into a much deeper look at the way childhood bullying can impact an adult.”

2014-05-14 :: PANTANI: THE ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF A CYCLIST: A riveting story chronicling one of cycling’s most flamboyant icons - available in theatres in North and South America beginning July 2014

SpectiCast, in association with New Black Films and Goldcrest Films International, is proud to announce that it will distribute PANTANI: THE ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF A CYCLIST to theatres in North America and South America beginning in July 2014.  The film explores the startling truth behind one man’s remarkable descent from being among the finest athletes on earth, to his tragic end in a sport riven by intrigue.

Marco Pantani was a hero to millions - the savior of cycling following the doping scandals that threatened to destroy the sport. However, less than six years after winning both the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia, Pantani, at just 34 years of age, died alone in a cheap Italian hotel room on Valentines Day in 2004.

SpectiCast is a US-based distribution company, specializing in the distribution of Event Cinema and Alternative Content to theaters worldwide. Past projects have included the worldwide release of Lamb of God’s AS THE PALACES BURN, THE ROLLING STONES: HYDE PARK LIVE, SUPER DUPER ALICE COOPER and the 2014 MYFRENCHFILMFESTIVAL.  “PANTANI is a fantastic addition to SpectiCast’s Event Cinema line-up and we are thrilled to partner with New Black Films to make this film available to our worldwide network,” said Mark Rupp, President and COO of SpectiCast.

James Erskine, the film's director and producer said, "I'm excited to be working with an innovative company like SpectiCast to bring the film to audiences across the Americas. While making the film we've received massive interest from the US, Canada and Latin America and are delighted to be able to present the film to these audiences to coincide with the 2014 Tour de France."

PANTANI: THE ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF A CYCLIST will premiere on the SpectiCast network in North and South America beginning July 2014.

This follows the successful theatrical release in the UK with Soda Pictures, Italy with GA&A and Australia with Madman Entertainment.

###

ABOUT PANTANI: THE ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF A CYCLIST
In 1998 Marco Pantani, the most flamboyant and popular cyclist of his era, won both the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia – a titanic feat of physical and mental endurance that no rider has repeated since. He was a hero to millions – the saviour of cycling following the doping scandals which threatened to destroy the sport. However, less than six years later, aged just 34, he died alone, in a cheap Italian hotel room.

Pantani: The Accidental Death of a Cyclist explores the startling truth behind one man’s remarkable descent from being amongst the finest athletes on earth to his tragic end in a sport riven by intrigue.

Combining scintillating race archive with contemporary news footage, stylised reconstructions, and interviews with Pantani’s friends, family, colleagues, and rivals, including Sir Bradley Wiggins, Evgeni Berzin and Greg LeMond.

The story of the greatest climber of his generation; man versus mountain, athlete versus the system, Marco Pantani versus himself.

“The wheels of fate spin mercilessly… The film is a gripping portrayal of human endeavour and pain” – 4 stars – Jason Solomons, the Mail on Sunday

“It makes a persuasive case for its subject and makes us understand why, before his fall from grace, he was so adored by every rung of Italian society – 4 stars – Geoffrey McNab, Independent.

“Pantani’s is perhaps the greatest cycing story every told.” – Ned Boulting.

MORE INFORMATION on SUPER DUPER ALICE COOPER:

Super Duper Alice Cooper is the first ever ‘doc opera’ – a dizzying blend of documentary archive footage, animation and rock opera that will cement forever the legend of ALICE COOPER.

The film is the twisted tale of a teenage Dr. Jekyll whose rock n’ roll Mr. Hyde almost kills him. It is the story of Vincent Furnier, a preacher’s son who struck fear into the hearts of parents as ALICE COOPER, the ultimate rock star of the bizarre. From the advent of Alice as front man for a group of Phoenix freaks in the 60’s to the hazy decadence of celebrity in the 70s to his triumphant comeback as 80s glam metal godfather, we will watch as Alice and Vincent battle for each other’s’ souls. Alice’s story is told not only by the man himself, but through exclusive interviews with members of the original ALICE COOPER band, Elton John, Iggy Pop, John Lydon, and Dee Snider.

Super Duper Alice Cooper is the creation of Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn at Banger Films, producers of Iron Maiden: Flight 666 (2009 SXSW Audience Choice Winner) and Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage (2010 Grammy-nominated and Tribeca Audience Choice Winner), and much-lauded filmmaker Reginald Harkema, winner of the TIFF Special Jury Prize for his film Monkey Warfare.

2014-03-03 :: THE TEMPEST AND CAESAR & CLEOPATRA WITH ACADEMY AWARD WINNER CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER - A “MUST SEE” FOR ALL THEATER FANS

Philadelphia, PA – SpectiCast, in association with Melbar Entertainment, is pleased to announce distribution of THE TEMPEST, returning to cinemas beginning March 13, 2014, and CAESAR & CLEOPATRA, making its theatrical  premiere outside of Canada on May 22, 2014.  Both events were captured live at the renowned Stratford Festival and star stage and screen legend Christopher Plummer, winner of an Academy Award, two Emmy Awards, two Tony Awards, a Golden Globe Award, a SAG Award, and a BAFTA Award.

In Shakespeare’s THE TEMPEST, Plummer plays the banished duke Prospero, who is marooned on a distant island with his daughter Miranda (Trish Lindstrom). He has spent twelve years perfecting his magic arts and now, with the help of the spirit Ariel (Julyana Soelistyo), he raises a storm at sea, bringing within his grasp the enemies who robbed him of his dukedom.

In CAESAR & CLEOPATRA, George Bernard Shaw’s witty and seductive comedy, Plummer plays the Roman emperor Caesar, opposite Tony Award-winning (Book of Mormon) Nikki M. James’s Cleopatra, the enchanting teenaged Queen of Roman-occupied Egypt. Their first encounter under a desert moon leads to a shift in history as Caesar teaches Cleopatra to overcome her timidity and become a determined player in the game of power politics.

Both productions were hailed as triumphs by critics throughout North America and played to sold-out houses at Stratford.

The Stratford Festival has brought classical and contemporary theatre alive for over sixty years, annually presenting a dozen plays in four theatres between April and November, in the Canadian city of Stratford, Ontario. More than half a million theatergoers flock to Stratford each year to see productions featuring some of the finest actors in the world.  The Festival revolutionized the production of Shakespeare in the modern world, and continues to be recognized for its thought-provoking work as it strives to set the standard for classical theatre today.  The Stratford Festival provides audiences with a theatre experience unsurpassed anywhere in the world – and now nationwide audiences can share these magical and momentous theatrical events, as these world-class productions come to life on big screens across the country.  “These productions are excellent additions to SpectiCast’s growing series of alternative content,” said Mark Rupp, Co-Founder and President of SpectiCast.  “We are thrilled to be able to give audiences the opportunity to experience world-class theatre on the big screen.”

"Captured and immortalized in high definition film, these spectacular productions bring the power and intimacy of extraordinary design, words and performance in a larger than live experience that is simply incomparable," said Executive Producer Barry Avrich.

2013-12-12 :: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: SPECTICAST TO RELEASE LAMB OF GOD's AS THE PALACES BURN TO CINEMAS WORLDWIDE BEGINNING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2014

"The juxtaposition between Lamb of God's anarchic music and soft-spoken amiability is both comical and well-defined, setting the stage for an exploration of metal's cathartic power for its countless fans."
- Eric Kohn, Indiewire

Philadelphia, PA - SpectiCast, in association with Sony Music Entertainment and 9.14 Pictures, presents As The Palaces Burn - a film about metal icons Lamb of God, the zealous passion of their fan base, and the gut-wrenching manslaughter trial of lead singer Randy Blythe. The theatrical cinema event will conclude with a recently recorded, 30-minute Q&A conducted by VH1 Classics' Eddie Trunk, that includes the entire band as well as director Don Argott. The Q&A will be shown at all theatrical and concert venue screenings. As The Palaces Burn captures Lamb of God's bizarre odyssey of world tour-turned-courtroom drama through its eye-watering conclusion, with exclusive courtroom footage and candid interviews from the trial and its aftermath.

As Lamb of God set out on the road to support their 2012 album Resolution, the film presents behind the scenes portrayal of the band members and the fans that make up their "diehard" fanbase, including a Colombian taxi driver whose friends and families have been slaughtered by the cartels, an Indian girl rebelling against the restrictive misogyny of her culture.

While reflecting at the Dead Sea, Blythe admitted, "I'm not exactly proud about some things I've done in my life but I don't really regret them because it's got me to a point now where I can look at them and say 'I can do things a better way.'" The members of the band are complex, sensitive adults now, splitting time between touring the world, trying to be responsible fathers and husbands at home.

While on the European leg of their Resolution Tour, Czech authorities arrested Blythe and charged him with manslaughter (carrying a penalty of up to ten years in prison). Apparently, a young Czech Lamb of God fan named Daniel Nosek died in 2010, following an injury he -received at a Lamb of God concert. Neither the band nor its management had any knowledge of the death until Blythe was arrested two years after the fact when the group tried to re-enter the country.

While the events and outcome of the trial may be a familiar story to metalheads, you don't need any sort of background or appreciation of heavy metal to be swept away by this uncanny journey into guilt, responsibility, and redemption that is ultimately more about human beings than it is about head banging.

2013-09-26 :: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: SPECTICAST TO SCREEN POMPEII FOR SCHOOLS FROM THE BRITISH MUSEUM

SpectiCast to be exclusive US distributor of Pompeii For Schools (60 minutes) releasing for the first time in the U.S. as well as encore screenings of main feature Pompeii from the British Museum (90 minutes) .

Philadelphia, PA - SpectiCast has been appointed by More2Screen as the U.S. distributor for POMPEII FOR SCHOOLS beginning October 25 and encore presentations for POMPEII FROM THE BRITISH MUSEUM from November 17 to theatres, museums, galleries, performing arts centers, and educational institutions across the United States. These are the very first theatre events to be produced by the British Museum for a major exhibition and are an exclusive view of the blockbuster show Life and Death in Pompeii and Herculaneum which focused on the Roman homes and lives of the inhabitants of the thriving industrial hub of Pompeii and the small seaside town of Herculaneum nearly 2,000 years ago when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79AD.

Specially created for 7-11 year old children, POMPEII FOR SCHOOLS features BBC television presenters Ed Petrie and Naomi Wilkinson, accompanied by children from London primary schools, discovering what life was like for Romans living in the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum.

The film covers a range of subjects, including history, English, science, art and design and citizenship, and is presented in a lively and informative style designed to engage a young audience. In addition to the film, supplementary teacher's guide and student resource pack will be provided for all participating schools and local exhibitors. This exclusive educational program is available to public theaters, as well as schools, museums, and libraries.

SpectiCast is also distributing encore presentations of the successful main feature screenings of POMPEII FROM THE BRITISH MUSEUM (Rated R). With an introduction by the director of the British Museum, Neil MacGregor, this fascinating cinematic tour of the exhibition features the insights of a number of renowned experts, who lend their knowledge to bring the magnificent artifacts to life including the curator of the exhibition Paul Roberts; Mary Beard, Professor of Classics at Cambridge University; and historian Bettany Hughes. With eating and gardening being an integral part of life, we also hear from chef Giorgio Locatelli and gardener Rachel de Thame.

Audiences are taken along a Roman street and into a local house to view an extraordinary range of artifacts including intricate pieces of jewelry, sculpture, mosaics, cooking equipment and even food including an intact loaf of bread with the baker's stamp still visible. Also on display is wooden furniture carbonized by the high temperatures of the ash that engulfed Herculaneum which are extremely rare finds that would not have survived at Pompeii - showing the importance of combining evidence from the two cities. The furniture includes a linen chest, an inlaid stool and even a garden bench. Perhaps the most remarkable is a perfectly carbonized baby's crib.

Mark Rupp, President and Co-Founder of SpectiCast enthuses, "I'm delighted to add the program to the company's roster, not only as a feature film, but also for schools and libraries to use as an impressive educational tool. In distributing both formats of Pompeii, SpectiCast will maximize the reach of these stunning films through our 700+ exhibitor network." The British Museum's exhibition "Life and Death in Pompeii and Herculaneum" received glowing reviews from media outlets including London's The Times, The Sunday Telegraph, The Daily Telegraph (stunning . . . superb"), The Independent on Sunday ("a wonderful show of wonderful things"), Metro ("a brilliantly told story of love, life, sex and death") and Time Out (the British Museum has created an experience that's almost as good, and definitely as informative, as visiting the real thing").

ABOUT THE BRITISH MUSEUM
The British Museum was established in 1753 by Act of Parliament and opened to the public in 1759. Governed by a body of Trustees, the Museum was from its beginnings a new type of institution, its collection belonging to the nation and freely accessible to all. The British Museum today is a museum of the world for the world, holding a collection of eight million objects - one of the finest in existence - spanning two million years of human history. The British Museum is the most visited attraction in the UK receiving 6 million visitors a year and aims to reach a broader worldwide audience by extending engagement not only with these objects but with the cultures and civilizations that they represent. www.britishmuseum.org
