SpectiCast, in association with More2Screen and the British Museum, is proud to present POMPEII FROM THE BRITISH MUSEUM - the very first cinema event to be produced by the British Museum for a major exhibition, offering an exclusive private view of the blockbuster show Life and death in Pompeii and Herculaneum - to theaters across the United States beginning November 17, 2013.

The exhibition focuses on the homes and lives of the inhabitants of the thriving industrial hub of Pompeii and the small seaside town of Herculaneum nearly 2,000 years ago when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79AD. Introduced by British Museum Director Neil MacGregor, this fascinating show will take viewers around the exhibition with insights from renowned experts who will bring these extraordinary objects to life.

With accompanying music, poetry and eyewitness accounts and go behind the scenes of the exhibition to explore the stories of these famous Roman cities and jewelery preserved for thousands of years uncover art techniques of the past, and how archeologists working today to discover new evidence reveals the lives of men, women and children in Roman society.
